Shut up in a Cage

When we are trapped then we are caged in, we are surrounded by walls that have been in place.
No matter where we go the walls go with us.
The walls protect us...
Protect us from never getting hurt again, they protect us from never failing, they protect us from doing something wrong so we don’t feel any guilt anymore, t
We feel comfortable in the cage, but we are trapped.
While we can’t see the walls, they are there.

Let Jesus in the Cage

Jesus is ready to make and exchange.
Romans 5:18–21 The Message
18 Here it is in a nutshell: Just as one person did it wrong and got us in all this trouble with sin and death, another person did it right and got us out of it. But more than just getting us out of trouble, he got us into life! 19 One man said no to God and put many people in the wrong; one man said yes to God and put many in the right. 20 All that passing laws against sin did was produce more lawbreakers. But sin didn’t, and doesn’t, have a chance in competition with the aggressive forgiveness we call grace. When it’s sin versus grace, grace wins hands down. 21 All sin can do is threaten us with death, and that’s the end of it. Grace, because God is putting everything together again through the Messiah, invites us into life—a life that goes on and on and on, world without end.
Romans 5:18-
We are in a cage because of choices we made or because of hurts from other people.
Jesus wants to come in the cage, heal you, and set you free.
Many people reject Jesus because they feel that they don’t deserve it or they don’t trust that He will not hurt them as well.
Adam sinned and messed up everything, but Jesus came paid the price so we can free.

We Always Remember

We remember why we are in a cage, why we are trapped. The enemy loves to remind you.
We remember because we struggle comprehending grace.
Grace is forgiveness and grace wins every time.

What is Grace

Grace is the great exchange.
He will take your sin and give you righteousness
He will take your pain and give you freedom from pain.
He will walls and take them down.
He will do what only Jesus can do!

Will you let Jesus in?
