Why we must keep learning

CITP: Teach children the ways of scripture and they will always know where to go.

CISP: Kids must learn the foundations of Scripture.

P: Kids will understand they are a part of the learning process of growing in their faith.

SM -

1) Tell your group about something new you learned this year.

2) Tell your group something that they wouldn’t know about you.

3) Why does God want us to go to Church?

We - School is almost out for the year and everyone will be headed to the next grade level. Are you guys excited?!? What might happen if you just said I am done with school. No more school for me.

T.S. - We will never know everything about God right? We can always be learning more about God.

Proverbs 22:6 The Message

Point your kids in the right direction— when they’re old they won’t be lost.

​ NLTSuddenly there was a great earthquake! For an angel of the Lord came down from heaven, rolled aside the stone, and sat on it. His face shone like lightning, and his clothing was as white as snow. The guards shook with fear when they saw him, and they fell into a dead faint. Then the angel spoke to the women. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen. Come, see where his body was lying. And now, go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and he is going ahead of you to Galilee. You will see him there. Remember what I have told you.” The women ran quickly from the tomb. They were very frightened but also filled with great joy, and they rushed to give the disciples the angel’s message.

P: Kids will understand they are a part of the learning process of growing in their faith.

You – Have the choice to come and listen in Creek kids, Sunday School and other events. You Choice! Sunday school is a great time to learn about the wonderful stories of the Bible and ask lots of questions. Creek Kids we build relationships and are challenged to do the work God has asked us to do.

We- can’t just come to church and expect church to make us go to heaven. We most be growing in our faith and learning of who God is each and every week and each and every day.
