I’m excited that we can be here together to Celebrate international Sunday, our new Lead Evangelist and the start of our season of Giving for Special Missions Contribution.
I was so inspired by the heart of our church to Give!
You should have received an envelope for Special missions when you walked in. Those are the bright teal blue Envelopes. The white envelopes are for our regular weekly contribution. We will pass the baskets once, and you can put both envelopes in them as they are passed.
We want to give you a few instructions and explain where your giving is going. But first, THANK YOU For your heart to Rise up and give to Special missions. I am so inspired by the heart of our church to Give!
As a church we have regularly blown out our goal and given way beyond what is asked.
In 2016 our goal was $250,000 and what you gave was $306, 126
2017 the goal was $266,000 and you gave $298,378
Last year in the middle of some huge transitions you went way beyond our goal of $300,000 and gave $348,798!!
How amazing is that? THANK YOU for your amazing hearts to give!
This year our goal is $305,000
Here is a break down of where that giving goes.
$5000 for Santa Fe, Our newest Church plant, our support to the church there will help that church grow and expand in the Santa Fe and Los Alamos area.
$20,000 goes to Fort Collins, We now have 89 disciples in Fort Collins, and God has blessed them with 3 Baptisms so far this year. Your support has helped advance the gospel in Northern Colorado and Wyoming.
$25,000 to Grand Valley Church, They started with 14 in 2015 and right now they have 46 disciples in the church there, They too have had 3 Baptized this year, and have growing more and more!
$80,000 to SE Asia!
We support:
5 Churches in Cambodia, (470)
4 Churches in Vietnam (269)
4 Churches in Thailand (150)
1 Church in Laos (8)
This money will provide funds needed to fulfill a few key purposes:
1. To help those churches to continue the many ministries and outreach plans that they have presently.
2. It will also help them to create new ministries, hire new staff, and plant new churches in the future.
3. It will help them to travel to other parts of God’s Kingdom to receive necessary training and discipling that will in turn help them to build Jesus churches.
You can rest assured that the sacrifices you’ve already made, have directly impacted souls and lives in this key part of the world. And the sacrifices you make this year will do this even more! I love having that joy and confidence.
God has truly blessed the money you have given over the years to do great things in SE Asia.
And lastly we are giving, $175,000 to Local missions. Reaching the lost and hurting right here in Rocky Mountains.
As a Church our vision is that we will be “Connecting Every Generation of Every Community to God and to One Another.”
That is one of the reasons we have a huge focus and investment in the youth, our next generation.
Every Community to God and to One Another.

So your giving to local missions goes to helping to hire campus interns, to reach out and evangelize on campus.
Your giving goes to offsetting the cost of campus and Singles Events to that more people can attend and hear the good news.
Your sacrifice helps us to fund our benevolence to meet the needs of the hurting here in Denver.
With your giving, we will be able to hire 6 summer interns to work with our Teen ministry this summer.
Your generosity also goes to help cover the cost of training, raising up and educating our staff. And several other things to help us reach the lost and hurting world around us.

As you can see by the grace of God your giving has done, and will continue to do amazing things here in the Rocky mountains and SE Asia.
In just a minute we will pass the baskets and take up our special mission and our regular weekly contribution.
