Overview of

Confidence in God (vv. 1-5)

Praise to God’s livingkindness, protection, faithfullness, (vv. 6-8)

Physical, Psychological, and Spiritual Distress, sorrow, due to others I’ve become a reproach (denial?), universally hated,(vv. 9-13)

v. 10 Iniquity = Physical Distress
v. 11 Adversaries = Psychological and Spiritual Distress (“reproach”)

Word Study on Reproach

Of the 20 occurences of this lexical form of the Hebrew noun, all but 4 convey the idea that:
The reproach was justly poured out on the subject by God (; )
The subject of the reproach was sinful and therefore deserving of the reproach (;)
