Intro-
In movie there is myth that started filming in b&w but then color came along and they switched.
Not so.
In fact, beginning isn’t b&w, but golden hue.
Reason is that Baum descrobes Kansas life that way.
And can easily seem so...
Which makes the brilliant colors of OZ something spectacular, if not a bit quirky and extreme.
There’s the blue that everyone wears...
OZ is not without it’s pleasant points, but it’s still a place ruled by battling witches amd pretender who really has no power to make anything any better.
The only power he has is what people lend him in imagining that he is who they believe he is.
So the crazy of OZ is a lot like our own—the varieties of pleasant things only mask teh sore reality—that OZ is a crazy world ...
And yet, that doesn’t mean it can’t be better.
But ironically, the only way that OZ will ever get better is if the people of OZ get better, and begin to live a better OZ.
The only way OZ ever gets better is for teh people there to live a better OZ.
It’s much the same as our world...
In 1620...
That first year…, but within just a few generations...
*** Or maybe this is about Jamestown, and the rich man that died of lead poisoning;
also, teh fact that the people / the priest ??? was/were buried facing away from where Jesus would show up…??
(The finer things in life may be slowly killing you—acceptable doesn’t mean healthy)
The Truth that sets people free must first make an issue of the chains;

(fill in the blank—could be the anything party—point is slowly migrate from pure truth to party truth.
*** That’s exactly what happened in Corinth—THE ISSUE is that some aspect of their beliefs—maybe even true at its core, becomes the driving agenda—having an inordinate impact on the whole of what they say, and compromising many other doctrinal concerns because of teh bend in their emphasis / concern / attention—IOW—they see it everywhere they look, even if it isn’t there (Tetris effect here?? or sea legs??)
*** Cf 1ti 6—Again, God is not against knowledge…(ex’s)… but rather fake knowledge—fake news may be current phenomenon, but fake knowledge has been around for a long, long time
