There are Always Problems
The trouble with being a mom is that there are always problems.

Hannah had a husband problem.
Ridiculous to have two wives.
Just because something is socially accepted does not make it right.
Ridicule is a part of her normal life.

Maybe your desiring a child, finding it difficult to parent the children you have or you just feel outside of the family because of your emotions or some other issue, you are not alone.

If you know Christ as Saviour, you are sufficient before God because Christ is sufficient and He stands in your place before the Father.
A Prayer of Insecurity is the Best Place to Start
I Sam.
Prayer is the natural reaction of those close to the Lord.
We do not jump to conclusions or have a conversation with ourselves instead of bringing it to the Lord.
Bitterness of Soul
Prayed unto the Lord.
Wept Sore—Emotional out-pouring.
Vowed a vow—promises to God are not kept just because of our strength but because His ordering our steps in the midst of humility before Him.

Prayer from insecurity is often confusing
Confusing because it is really a prayer from the depths of despair (12-16).
Eli understood, just from a different angle (1:17).
His sons were a mess (1:3).
No doubt he had prayed this way before.
It is an error to believe you are the only person dealing with difficulty today.
Prayer of faith is the definition of worship (1:18-20)
God hears, trust His answer.
Know the embrace of His security in the midst of your insecurity.
Prayer in faith is followed by the praise that faith brings as we live our purpose.

Mom’s plight, sickness, sadness, fear and insecurities can be used for God’s glory in the prayer and praise of faith.
