Happy Mother’s Day!
Happy Mother’s Day!
Today is mothers day!
Mothers are awesome! they bless us in so many ways
We see the character of God expressed though mothers
When God created Adam and Eve He created them both His likeness and Image
So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
Mothers bring us into life
First they bring us into life
Mothers care for us. They clean and clothe us
Mothers feed and nurture us
Mothers teach us
The Reward is Guaranteed!

Mothers walk with us
Mothers help heal us, by taking care of our wounds
A Few words Us Sons and Daughters would like to say to our mothers!
There is still hope for me, don’t worry! I know sometimes that is a question
You inspire me to want to live with God! I know I don’t always get it right
I am sorry! I really didn’t mean to embarrass you, i can’t help it!
Hey mom you are enough for me! You are perfect in your own way!
I know you would if you could but you can’t save me.
I see Christ in you.
I know you pray for me.
You are deeply loved, even if I don’t show it well!
You are changing the world. By your love!
You are not alone! I will always be your son/ daughter!
Mothers today we bless you and we honor you for all you have given us!
Feeling Tired?
Feeling Tired?
All this work can be exhausting
Christ has given us life to live in abundance.
But many times we get bogged down by “life” and that which seemed to be worth our time and energy begins to cause us to fall behind and holds us back
There is a time for trimming.
we need to sort through the things we need to do and the things that are wearing us down and out.
Mothers are awesome! they bless us in so many ways
First they bring us into life
second they care for us
Third they feed and nurture us
fourth they teach us
they walk with us
they help heal us
All this work can be exhausting
Is it because we overdue it?
For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.
There are things that we “sow” into that are no good. We can spend a lot of time
things that are the flesh? things that are independent from God. Against God. Self driven.

sensual-
demonic-
The Spirit of God in us has freed us from the flesh and gives us freedom to sow in the spirit.
Pure-
peaceable-
Gentle- willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits
But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
James 3:14-
When we do what is right we shouldn’t grow weary there is a promise a guarantee that we will reap what we sow.
And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
Exodus 33:14
Sin drains our energy
There are ways to do things that will completely drain you.
Some people can do certain tasks without getting tired others just thinking about it wears them out.
what practices that we are doing are exhausting us? sucking the life out of us?
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
A couple of things to look at:

First- Are you coming to Jesus? Are you coming in admitting that how things are is not right and that you need His intervention?
If the answer is yes then the next step is: Listen and obey His instructions:
Take His Yoke - Balance, Scale. That which you align yourself with.
The lies we tell ourselves!
If I could x then my life would be amazing..
If I had more time I would...
If I say or do x people will think i am stupid
We need a new set of values. values that are different from the ones we are using now.
we need God’s values in our lives. Not what we think or want.
Are we willing to take what God says about us to heart?
His scale and burden is light and easy.
The Next thing is to learn from Him.
This is personal. God wants us to observe, watch, absorb some information.
He is Gentle He is lowly in heart
Gentleness is a being kind and considerate of others. It is well balanced approach to self and to others.
Lowly in heart also carries the balanced, not self willed or arrogant. but Someone who knows who they are and who they aren’t because their “scales are well balanced”.
you need a new set of values that aren’t different from the ones you are using now.
We need God’s values in our lives now… Not what we think or want.
Are we willing to take what God says is important to heart?

And He said, “Woe to you also, lawyers! For you load men with burdens hard to bear, and you yourselves do not touch the burdens with one of your fingers.
