*WHEN WILL CHRIST COME**?*
* *
This question was first asked by the disciples within forty days after Christ’s resurrection and it has been repeatedly asked for some 2000 years.
Generally, Christians want to know when Christ is coming again to take us to be with Him at what we call the Rapture of the church.
A more important question for us to answer is when Christ will come to the earth to establish His kingdom, His rule and reign on this earth for a thousand years and then forever in the new heavens and earth.

When we lose sight of the 2nd Advent of Christ, we lose purpose for our existence on earth as a Christian.
We are to make disciples for the King is coming to rule and reign.
God’s purpose will be complete in the Millennial Kingdom for as His perfect will is done in heaven so it will be done on earth.
*1 Peter 2:9-10** \\ 9 **But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for /God’s /own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;** 10 **for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.*
* *
This subject of the Kingdom being established was very much on the minds of the disciples especially after the resurrection of Christ.
*Acts 1:6-8** \\ 6 **So when they had come together, they were asking Him, saying, “Lord, is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?”** 7 **He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority;** 8 **but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”*
* *
The kingdom that the disciples were so concerned about came from their understanding of Jesus’ teachings about establishing the kingdom to Israel.
*Matthew 4:17** \\ 17 **From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”*
* *
*Matthew 6:9-10** \\ 9 **“Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.** 10 **‘Your kingdom come.
Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.*

This kingdom was so ready to be established that they were looking into the very face of the King.
In light of the evidence of the King’s resurrection, surely the Jewish nation would now accept the King’s offer if they another chance.
Let’s see if the nation of Israel would accept the King if offered to them.
Before the offer can be made, there must be a means of calling a mass of people together to hear the reoffering of the kingdom.
God uses the healing of a man who had never walked and did not need to learn to walk.
The crowd has gathered and Peter gives the message of reoffering the kingdom to Israel.
