I. THE PARTIALITY—vv.

1. Sameness—v. . Not being a respecter of persons.

2. Special—vv. . No special treatment should be given to anyone. All are same in God’s sight!

3. Selection—vv. . The poor (rich in faith, were chosen to be the heirs of the kingdom.

4. Sacrilege—vv. . The rich despising the poor. The rich curse the name of Christ, which we are called.

5. Sin—vv. . Fulfil the “royal law.” This means we practice , . If not, we are sinning.

II. THE PERFECTION—vv.

1. Condemnation—v. . If you insist on keeping the Old Testament law, yet break one part, you are guilty of breaking it all.

2. Commands—v. . Repeating some of the Ten Commandments. If break these, then a trangressor.

3. Consecration—vv. . Judged by how we live.

a. Judged—v. . How we live, act and talk.

b. Judgment—v. . His judgment will be final.

III. THE PRACTICE—vv.

1. Profit—v. . There is no profit in faith alone. Faith must be active. It must have works.

2. Personal—vv. . Not a Christian, when we see our brother in need, and not help him.

3. Practice—vv. . Without faith being put into practice, it is dead and useless.

IV. THE PROBLEM—vv.

1. Wrong—v. . Abraham was not justified by works, but by faith. He had faith, but offered his son. This was faith in action.

2. Works—vv. . Faith brought good works.

3. War—vv. . Constant war between spirit and the flesh. Body dead without spirit, so faith without works.
