Appreciation to God for salvation...

"Lord, I am indeed your servant ... You have loosened my bonds. "I will offer you a sacrifice of thanksgiving and call on the name of the Lord. "I will fulfill my vows to the Lord in the presence of all his people,” ()
As a creature that lives for only a day, who are soon to drop into eternity, let’s rejoice that the way of salvation has been made known to us.

Awed at God’s Greatness...

Ask God to make us awestruck at the greatness of Him, our Maker.
"to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, power, and authority before all time, now and forever. Amen.” ()
Be in awe of the twin truths of the Trinity and Incarnation
"The Lord will reign forever and ever!” ()
Be in awe of the twin hopes of our personal resurrections and a cosmic renovation under God’s sovereignty!
"For I know that the Lord is great; our Lord is greater than all gods. "The Lord does whatever he pleases in heaven and on earth, in the seas and all the depths.” ()
"For the Lord, the Most High, is awe-inspiring, a great King over the whole earth.” ()
Be in awe of God’s Word that tells us that our Creator becomes our Redeemer.
"For the Lord, the Most High, is awe-inspiring, a great King over the whole earth.” ()
Be in awe of God, who is infinitely great in wisdom and power who’s plan was to save billions and bring them all to glory and the mysterious way He does it.
"The Lord is great and highly praised ...” ()
Be in awe of God’s plan that sets before us the coming of the Son of God into time, worldwide evangelism, pastoral care, demonstrating of God’s Kingdom, spiritual warfare against its enemies, and building up of the Church before the Savior returns.
"Hallelujah! Praise the name of the Lord. Give praise, you servants of the Lord” ()
Be in awe of God’s plan sets before us the Father sending the Son to redeem, and the Spirit to quicken, the lost and guilty living dead—dead souls like ours, dead in transgressions and sins, led by the devices and desires of a corrupt heart, and often putting up a smoke screen of religious formalism to keep the light of God from reaching my conscience.
"Lord, your name endures forever, your reputation, Lord, through all generations.” ()
God’s call to us for holiness begins as we dwell on these great and awesome realities until I find myself truly awestruck at the greatness of my God, who is making it all happen.
Packer, J. I. (2009). Rediscovering Holiness: Know the Fullness of Life with God (Second Edition, p. 65). Ventura, CA: Regal.
"Lord, there is no one like you. You are great; your name is great in power. "Who should not fear you, King of the nations? It is what you deserve. For among all the wise people of the nations and among all their kingdoms, there is no one like you.” ()
PRAY that we would learn to give Him glory (in the sense of praise) for the greatness of His glory (in the sense of self-display) as the One whose revealed wisdom and power, in redemption as in creation. May the contemplation of our Maker just dazzle, surpass, and overwhelm our understandings.
"Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things. Let this be known throughout the earth. "Cry out and sing, citizen of Zion, for the Holy One of Israel is among you in his greatness.”” ()

Gratitude for God’s Mercy...

"Indeed, everything is for your benefit so that, as grace extends through more and more people, it may cause thanksgiving to increase to the glory of God.” ()
May we learn from our salvation to be grateful for the mercy of our God.
Our supernatural salvation is far richer and more abundant and involves far more Divine generosity that we can ever dream of!
Pray that our thanksgivings wouldn’t be hollow formalities but genuine expressions of gratitude in the heart for all of God’s giving!
GIVE THANKS for the inestimable love in the redemption of our souls, by our Lord Jesus Christ, for the means of grace, and for the hope of glory!
GIVE THANKS for the purposeful love of God that has its aim to make its saving recipients gloriously perfect (like Christ).
GIVE THANKS that His purposeful love was to raise us from spiritual bankruptcy to the dignity of forgiveness and restoration, acceptance and adoption into God’s family, it was costly—not to us, but to God Himself
"He did not even spare his own Son but offered him up for us all...” ()
The measure of all love is its giving. The measure of the love of God is the cross of Christ, where the Father gave the Son to die so that the spiritually dead might have life.
