Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil

praying in secret…not trying to get the applause of man but the connectivity of heaven

God sees what is done in secret…He will reward you

the reward that temptation offers vs the reward that God offers

temptation leads to regret, shame and guilt

why would it be even an option for God to lead us into temptation?

LEAD AND DELIVER...

The words of Jesus for your life

His words to Peter…but I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail…He knew it would, and he knows we will

—>but we can’t simply give in…should we throw in the towel and do whatever we want??

keep us free from testing, and rescue us if the tempting does occur

we are in a battle/struggle…forces opposed to our spiritual, physical, emotional health

WE NEED GOD’S HELP IN THE FACE OF THE DEVIL’S DESIRE TO LEAD US ASTRAY
