What Does It Mean?
You are answering the questions from the text.
Why do you Drive on Parkways, and Park on Driveways?
If Observations identify the pieces of a puzzle then Interpretation puts those pieces together to form the picture.
Interpretation generates answers
Just like a puzzle has one picture, the text will have one meaning.
Campbell and Merritt try to force pieces in place
The one meaning is the authors original meaning.

What does the Bible Really Say?
Money is the root of all evil -
10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.
Jesus never claimed to be God -
30 I and the Father are one.”
We are all gods or part of God -
35 To you it was shown, that you might know that the Lord is God; there is no other besides him.
Jesus was just a great moral teacher -
31 but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
The Bible says that Christians should give away their possessions -
11 and to aspire to live quietly, and to mind your own affairs, and to work with your hands, as we instructed you, 12 so that you may walk properly before outsiders and be dependent on no one.
The Bible says that work is a curse -
15 The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it.
All religions lead to the same end. No one religion is right. -
12 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
– B.B. Warfield

OT Sacrificial laws - Jesus is the ultimate sacrifice
26 for then he would have had to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world. But as it is, he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. 27 And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, 28 so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.
Only God can judge me,
1 “Judge not, that you be not judged.
, , ,
9 before the Lord, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity.
28 Do not marvel at this, for an hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.

13 God judges those outside. “Purge the evil person from among you.”

2 Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you incompetent to try trivial cases?
