A Cowardly Leader
Much like the lion = weak and afraid
What is Courage?
To continue on in the face of fear.
To hold the line through pain.
Following Jesus
Being a Christian doesn’t mean everything works out how you want it.
In fact, its quite the opposite.
Being a follower of Jesus means we are aware of all the sin, death, and devils that wage there war against and through us.
For the message of grace and peace is completely against them.
Therefore they work tirelessly to cause us to fear, lose hope, and question the fundamental truths of God’s will and our lives.
& Jesus teaches his disciples this as he sends them out to advance the good news.
What is there to fear?
When to do something....
When to do nothing....
Either way we are set to lose something.
If you stand up to sin, it seeks to sever relationship.
If I ignore it it does the same thing.
What is the cost?
Courage is not the absence of fear, but the facing of it.
What should I do?
“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.” - Lao Tzu
