Introduction

We have spoken about the anointing in the past, not even that long ago but the Lord has laid it on my heart to share with you again today. The reason is that we need to be prepared, we must realize how important this truly is. Without revival, many souls will die lost and go to a devil’s hell. Without revival, many households will continue to be destroyed by the demonic influences of our time bent on ripping apart God’s design for families. Without revival, there will be little to no hope for the addicted and afflicted people in our community. They may never know true freedom of choice ever again because of their chemical dependencies. Without revival, our Lord Jesus will return to a Bride that is little more than a whimpering and bruised child in comparison to the powerful Church she is called to be in this very hour.
It is no coincidence that the last book of the Bible admonishes the Bride to be ready at all costs. To let nothing stand in the way of her preparation for that day that is surely coming and coming soon. He is preparing us Church, and today is another opportunity to step just a little closer to your place in Him.
Psalm 139:13 ESV
For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.
Jeremiah 1:5 ESV
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
Exodus 29:36 ESV
and every day you shall offer a bull as a sin offering for atonement. Also you shall purify the altar, when you make atonement for it, and shall anoint it to consecrate it.
Holiness is finding and operating under the anointing God has for you. Holiness is the understanding that you are set apart from the rest of the world for God’s specified calling on your life.
Holiness is finding and operating under the anointing God has for you.
2 Corinthians 1:21–22 ESV
And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, and who has also put his seal on us and given us his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

Approved

We have all experienced or at least witnessed people that have appointed themselves into positions in various contexts. But this is not the way of God. It is the Father that calls for it is He who created, and He created with a specific purpose in mind. How glorious to know that the God of all glory and splendor for even a second fixed His gaze upon you and only you to determine who you would be should you decide to follow His path for your life. How even more glorious still to know that even if you haven’t followed that path before today that His love for you never diminished and He longs to get you on track to experience that great peace of knowing you are in His will.
2 Corinthians 10:18 ESV
For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.
1 Samuel 16:6–7 ESV
When they came, he looked on Eliab and thought, “Surely the Lord’s anointed is before him.” But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”

Appointed

Too many today want the title, recognition and money and to appoint themselves. It is far better to be God appointed! I can tell you from experience that it is not all about money, even though many think that there are money bags hidden throughout the church by the way they ask for things. The calling of God is by appointment only and there will be a day of reckoning for those that forced their own agendas upon the Body of Christ.
2 Timothy 1:11 ESV
for which I was appointed a preacher and apostle and teacher,
Appointed: Too many today want the title, recognition and money and to appoint themselves. It is far better to be God appointed!

Anointed

It will take time but God will direct you until you are ready to step into the role you were anointed for. I am here this morning to tell you that it has long been God’s desire to pour more into your life, but you must submit to the process. God will not make exceptions for any no matter how great their calling may be. God already knows your potential, what He wants to see is your passion for Him.
2 Corinthians 1:21–22 ESV
And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, and who has also put his seal on us and given us his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.
This morning I want to conclude with an anointing service:
Anointed: It will take time but God will direct you until you are ready to step into the role you were anointed for.
If you are here and want to: Submit to His approval process Let Him appoint you Live under your anointed purpose!
This morning I want to conclude with an anointing service: Submit to His approval process Let Him appoint you Live under your anointed purpose!
Come stand in the front and let’s agree together for God to do what only He can do.
