To learn to know, to have an intimate knowledge of someone.
Our Father has opened the doors for us to have an intimate knowledge of Him.
The biggest way we get to know someone is through communication.
So here is the question,

Does God speak to Us?

Does God really speak to us?
When we pray are we just praying to a God or is there a relationship?
If He does speak then how do we know he is speaking to us?
I believe God does speak to us as a Father speaks to his children and understanding his voice will lead us to the life the Bible promises to us.

Jesus Said my Sheep Know My Voice

During this time in history if some said that God spoke to them, then it was a big deal.
Jesus stirred up trouble because he said “My sheep know my voice.”
A shepherd is a person who tends, leads, guides, cherishes, feeds, and protects his flock.
Jesus was often spoken of as a shepherd and the sheep knew when God spoke to him.

How does God speak?

Some by Vision
Some by an audible voice
Some through the Gifts of the Spirit
Most of the time God speaks into our spirit through still small voice. A gentleness like a shepherd to a sheep.

Does He Speak to All of Us?

Under the Old Covenant God would speak only to the High Priest and Prophets, rarely to anyone else.
Because of Jesus we are under a different covenant and he speaks to everyone.

How can we all hear God?

We need to train ourselves to hear God.
Everyone has a spirit and God speaks to our spirit. We have to train ourselves to hear his voice.
A toddler knows the voice of their parents over a crowd of people.
Kids know the the mama tone!
Meditate on the word of God
Ask yourself if what you hear goes against the word of God?
Instantly Obey what you hear.
