NOTES on .
"Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the splendor and the majesty, for everything in the heavens and on earth belongs to you. Yours, Lord, is the kingdom, and you are exalted as head over all. "Riches and honor come from you, and you are the ruler of everything. Power and might are in your hand, and it is in your hand to make great and to give strength to all.” ()
Lord, You are mighty in power; there is no opposing You, : You are mighty in counsel; there is no out-witting You, : You are mighty in working; there is no out-doing You, : and You are great in judgment; there is no withstanding You, .
You are mighty in counsel; there is no out-witting You, : You are mighty in working; there is no out-doing You, : and You are great in judgment; there is no withstanding You, .
You are mighty in working; there is no out-doing You, : and You are great in judgment; there is no withstanding You, .
You are great in judgment; there is no withstanding You, .
And how great does the majesty of God appear in overturning the world from time to time, to accomplish Your plans, and at last in causing the earth and heavens to flee away, for the advancement of the glory of Your kingdom!
to accomplish Your plans, and at last
in causing the earth and heavens to flee away, for the advancement of the glory of Your kingdom!
NOTES .
We need not fear, You are not only Lord to protect us, but the Master of all them that rise up against You.
So, who would not choose You to be Lord, when, whether we will or not, You are our Master, and all will bow the knee to You willingly or else You will break their backs, and touch Your golden sceptre lest we be broken with His rod of iron, and take hold of Your strength by faith lest we feel it in displeasure? Lord, let us feel the power of Your grace, rather than the power of Your anger!
bow the knee to him willingly or else He will break your back, and
touch Your golden sceptre lest we be broken with His rod of iron, and
take hold of His strength by faith lest we feel it in displeasure?
Lord, let us feel the power of Your grace, rather than the power of Your anger!
NOTES on .
Thrice happy are the sons and daughters of Zion who have You dear God as our portion! As it was the great honor and happiness to stand before Solomon, what is it then to sit with Christ at His table? As His presence draws near, all our other graces are exercised and increased! His presence puts life into all our graces!

NOTES on .
Oh Lord we revere Your mighty Arm of power! I pray that we’d be strengthened with all power according to His glorious might, so that we might have great endurance and patience.
Your power is an irresistible power. To contend with You is like dry branches in the forest putting battle gear on to take on the raging fire! Your Word declares, “none can rescue from” Your “power” and that when You act, there is no one that can reverse it!
Your power is an inexhaustible power. It never grows weary or tires. You have an everlasting spring in strength in Yourself. Who is the King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle! ().
NOTES on .
Oh Lord, we that can barely handle the pain of sickness, how then shall people handle the eternal crushing torment of Your wrath? How can the lost bear these things w/out measure and w/out end. It’s surely a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of You, the living God!
Oh Father, the folly of those that think that they can grapple with Your omnipotent Arm and snatch the judgment from Your hands. O Lord, their hearts cannot endure when Your Almighty hand shall seize upon them and Your divine displeasure breaks out upon them!
Give praise to the Lord because, "The Lord reigns! He is robed in majesty...” () Other kings have royal and costly apparel to make them appear glorious to those that behold them. But all their magnificence is borrowed. Our God’s glorious essence is in the place of royal robes. , “the LORD is robed, enveloped in strength.” ()
"The Lord reigns! He is robed in majesty...” (a) Other kings have royal and costly apparel to make them appear glorious to those that behold them. But all their magnificence is borrowed. Our God’s glorious essence is in the place of royal robes. , “the LORD is robed, enveloped in strength.” (Ps 93:1b)
Give praise because unlike other kings that have their guards around them to defend their persons, because they are not able to defend themselves, but God needs no guard from others, He has girded Himself with strength. His own power is His guard: "Our Lord is great, vast in power; his understanding is infinite.” () "Lord, your right hand is glorious in power. Lord, your right hand shattered the enemy.” ()
Christian Standard Bible. (2017). (). Nashville, TN: Holman Bible Publishers.”
So since God is the Great King and sits King forever, then is shouldn’t be belittling thing for us to serve Him because it’s an honor to serve a King.
If the angels fly swiftly upon the King of heaven’s message () PRAY that we see it as an honor and a privilege to be used in His royal service.
It’s more of an honor for us to serve God than for kings to serve us.
PRAY that people would see us as the queen of Sheba, having seen the glory of Solomon’s kingdom, "How happy are your men. How happy are these servants of yours, who always stand in your presence hearing your wisdom.” ()
PRAY that lost people would trust their souls to God and realize that they cannot put that jewel in safer hands.
“The LORD is a warrior” () so PRAY that God will battle and bare His holy arm in the eyes of all of Roselawn.
PRAY & REJOICE because if all other means of our fail, He is never at a loss or impossible because He can make dry bones live ().
PRAY that God would “create” Redeemer Church “to be a joy and [us] to be a delight.” ().
PRAY that God would either remove the mountains () or leap over them () of our community, that we might share the gospel!
PRAY that all of our surrounding communities wouldn’t fear man but fear God who has the power to cast their souls into hell ().
As King, God has the power of life and death in His hands.
PRAY for our nation and how it uses its power against the King of heaven; they use their power against God, who with their tiny sceptre beat down God’s truth, which is the most familiar pearl of His crown
Others that crush and persecute His people, who are the apple of His eye, .
Watson, T. (1855). The Select Works of the Rev. Thomas Watson, Comprising His Celebrated Body of Divinity, in a Series of Lectures on the Shorter Catechism, and Various Sermons and Treatises (p. 418). New York: Robert Carter & Brothers.
Who trample upon His laws, and royal edicts, which He has set forth, . What is a king without his laws? PRAY that ll the nations take heed how they oppose the King of glory; the Lord will be too hard for all that come against Him. “Do you have an arm like God’s?” () As a nation, will we measure arms with the Almighty?
"Will your courage endure or your hands be strong in the days when I deal with you? I, the Lord, have spoken, and I will act.” ()
For a lost person in Roselawn to take on God is like sending a child to fight against Archangel. PRAY that God rescues them because their courage won’t endure and their hands won’t be strong enough on Judgment Day when the Lord deals with and acts upon them.
