The gifts and calling of God are irrevocable! 28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes.
29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
Hallelujah!!! We rejoice for we serve a living God. A God or mercy and compassion. A God who has patience to wait till you come to Him. This is the God we serve. He is not a indian giver or one to say never mind.
The Almighty will never disappoint you, no matter what. He is a faithful God. Whatever He gives to you as a gift or inheritance, He will never take back. Whether you use it, enjoy it or not, whether you have the faith to cause it to manifest or not, you still have it. It is yours and will be yours forever. Whether you just sit on it or use it to his glory your gift is your gift and you your call is your call.
Beloved, the Greek word *ametamele¯tos* translated as *repentance* can also be translated as *irrevocable* from it's root word.
When something is irrevocable, then it cannot be changed or reversed.
Beloved, the gifts and calling of God, when you receive them are irrevocable. Any gift or blessing you receive from God, be it divine grace or favour is irrevocable.
The gifts and calling of God, when you receive them are irrevocable. Any gift or blessing you receive from God, be it divine grace or favour is irrevocable.
Any calling, the invitation to salvation, or call to do His work as a Prophet, Apostle, Evangelist, Teacher or Pastor is irrevocable. That means it cant be taken back!
You have an assurance because God is not man that he should lie. This fact should change the way you see your gifts and your calling! Here in we challenge to understand the reject of Christ by the Jews which gave us access or should I say the invitation to be apart of his family.
You have an assurance because God is not man that he should lie. helps us understand that for the fact the Jews rejected Christ he allow us to be invited to Gods family. Your Sunday School lessons shows we were graphed in. We were described as a wild olive branch who are now connected to the root.

Even though they slammed the door on Christ as the message Bible translate God still keeps the door open for their return. The remaining invitation is still open.
So your gifts. What spiritual gifts God has given you are yours. Its for you to use to the glory of God.
Your Gifts are unique to you
God has given us Gifts. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. 8 To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10 to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. 11 All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.
says We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; 7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; 8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully. How will you use your gifts in the church? God is waiting on you to start using your gift for his glory!
Will you use your gifts in the church? God is waiting on you to start using your gift for his glory!
This is to say your calling is special.
Also your call puts you in a unique situation. 28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. ). 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. ).
1 Cor 1:26 For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards,[a] not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth.
Call called you for a purpose and with a design to be in his family. For Who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began,
That call comes with a promise! And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
