Communion

This week we will be looking at communion. It is a celebration that was started during the last meal Jesus shared with his disciples. But we will look in to that further in a little bit.

What does the term mean

The technical definition of communion is: the sharing or exchanging of intimate thoughts and feelings, especially when the exchange is on a mental or spiritual level. the service of Christian worship at which bread and wine are consecrated and shared. synonyms:Eucharist, Holy Communion, Lord's Supper, Mass"he believed in Christ's presence among the faithful at Communion"Where did communion start

Communion is also called the Lord’s Supper. In this case, it is a specific time of remembering the death and resurrection and what it means to the believer. The bread symbolizes the body of Christ and the wine (juice) represents the blood that was shed. But it has a more connected and deeper meaning. Let’s take a ride back to the Old Testament
