Control--- this morning sermon is over our control. what we can and what we cant control
I have been working on this myself for the last few months and something that I’m trying to teach the kids.. we can only take care of the things that we can control.
with sports its the umpires or the officials
with your job you may not like something a superior has said but you may need to do it.
Theres all kinds of scenerios in life that you cant control
with
traffic jams
delayed flights
ki
late mail
sicknesses
power goes out
flat tire
low battery
for memorial day we think about other countries who have started wars and what we must do to protect our allies
what are we going to do when situations like this occur… throw a fit
Paul was thrown into prison. A lot! Most of his writing and teachings come from prison.
Galatians 5:22–23 ESV
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

We have to be physically ready for situations
we have to be mentally ready for situations
We have to control our speech
we have to control our thoughts
Self control is a good sign of a Christian person
