1 Corinthians 13:13 ESV
So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
Romans 5:2–5 ESV
Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
Romans 5:20
Hebrews 11:1–2 ESV
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it the people of old received their commendation.

Pray For One Another

Philippians 1:19 ESV
for I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance,
Paul prayed for the Philippians
Philippians 1:3–4 ESV
I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy,
Philippians 1
The Philippians prayed for Paul’s deliverance
Philippians 1:18
Acts 12:12 ESV
When he realized this, he went to the house of Mary, the mother of John whose other name was Mark, where many were gathered together and were praying.
James 5:13–16 ESV
Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.
James 5:13-15

Receive the Power of the Holy Spirit

John 14:15–17 ESV
“If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.
John 14:15-16
John 14:26–27 ESV
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
John 14:26-
Holy Spirit- one who helps, by consoling, encouraging (counseling), or mediating (advocating) on behalf of
Ephesians 6:16–20 ESV
In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.
Psalm
Psalm 119:105 ESV
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
Psalm 119:11 ESV
I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.
2 Corinthians 10:3–5 ESV
For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,
2 Corinthians 10:3-
2 Timothy 1:6–7 ESV
For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands, for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
2 Timothy 1:6-7
Ephesians 6:12 ESV
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Courageously Present (Represent) Christ In Our Body

Ephesians 6:16-18
Philippians 1:20–26 ESV
as it is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be at all ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. If I am to live in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. Yet which I shall choose I cannot tell. I am hard pressed between the two. My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better. But to remain in the flesh is more necessary on your account. Convinced of this, I know that I will remain and continue with you all, for your progress and joy in the faith, so that in me you may have ample cause to glory in Christ Jesus, because of my coming to you again.

Matthew 10:19–21 ESV
When they deliver you over, do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say, for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour. For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you. Brother will deliver brother over to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death,

Paul want to do a good job for Jesus
Paul wants Jesus to tell him one day...
Matthew 25:21 ESV
His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’
Paul is sold out for Jesus in life and in death
We need more Godly examples of what it means to walk faithfully with Jesus Christ even when we are facing trials, tribulations, and setbacks
but is also It is also personal because....

Receive a Prophetic Word from the LORD

Philippians 1:25–26 ESV
Convinced of this, I know that I will remain and continue with you all, for your progress and joy in the faith, so that in me you may have ample cause to glory in Christ Jesus, because of my coming to you again.
Philippians 1:25-26
you receive a word right on time, tailor made just for you

But Paul’s Prophetic Word is not just for himself, it is to...

Present my life to Jesus

Romans 12:1–2 ESV
I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Present my life to others in order to share the gospel:

And remaining in the flesh for the Philippians account.

for their progress in the faith

for their joy in the faith

Receive a Prophetic Word from the LORD

and finally...
you receive a word right on time, tailor made just for you

Put Gospel Living into Practice

Philippians 1:27–30 ESV
Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel, and not frightened in anything by your opponents. This is a clear sign to them of their destruction, but of your salvation, and that from God. For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake, engaged in the same conflict that you saw I had and now hear that I still have.
Illustration: Like a good Biblical preacher, Paul closes with a practical application
It makes no sense to hear a good Word from the LORD through His preacher and servant leader and not apply or use it in your life
Matthew 7:24–26 ESV
“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.
Matthew 7:24
One application: Living In A Manner Worthy of the Gospel of Jesus Christ
The Number One!!!!
standing firm in one spirit
with one mind- striving side by side for the faith of gospel
and not frightened in anything by your opponents

Transition

Romans 8:18-19
Romans 8:18–19 ESV
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God.
Romans 8:26–28 ESV
Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:26-
Romans 8:31–32 ESV
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?
Romans 8:31

Close- The Gospel Partnership of suffering

Our God makes it personal
Romans 5:12 ESV
Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned—
Because on One Friday
One man who had been whipped all night long
This one man was taken from judgement hall to judgement hall
This one man was whipped and beaten all night long
This one man was mocked
This one man was stripped naked of His garments
This one man they put a scarlet robe on
This one man they placed a crown of thorns on His head
This one one they spit on Him
This one man they marched him down the Villa De La Rosa carrying His cross
But this one man couldn’t didn’t carry His cross alone
They got Simon the man of Cyrene to help carry this one man’s cross
Because must this one man carry the cross alone
Because He was wounded....
John 3:16 ESV
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
This one man, can I say His name
Because there is power in this one man’s name
Can I say His name
His name is Jesus
They hung this one man high
And they stretched this one man wide
They put nails into this one man’s hands
And they put nails into this one man’s feet
Then this one man, he died...
But that’s not how the story ends...
Because to live is Christ, to die and gain...
My says, that early on Sunday morning, this one man,
by name of Jesus , He got up
With all power and authority in His hands
......
