Behold, I Send

Sent by Christ (16-23)

Sheep among wolves

Wise as serpents

wisdom comes from the Spirit who dwells within us

Harmless as doves

Sent after Christ (24-28)

He has first suffered persecution for us

We follow his example

We are simply a servant of Christ and he is our master

He has taught us the truth that we live by

He does not sent us ignorant

Sent under Christ (29-33)

God watched over us

more than his love for the sparrows

we trust in his sovereign watch over his followers

He will be the judge that will bring justice to the world

We do not have to defend ourselves

God is the one who condemns those who will not receive his truth
