Worshiping the God Who Is Lord Over Time Oct 8, 2017
In our secular culture, life is defined without God. Our world and we as humans are considered as accidents that came about by an incomprehensible amount of time plus chance. Scientists usually only consider how the world came into existence not who brought it into existence. The end of the world is described in terms of an asteroid colliding with the earth. Again, merely chance, or the end may come by global warming which of course humans are the culprits. The end result of such secular dogmas is blasphemies and cursing. Certainly not worship. This passage focuses on the God who is Lord over Time () and the result is standing in awe of God and worshipping the Creator and Sustainer of this world and of our lives.

The Westminster Confession of Faith summarizes:
5. I. God the great Creator of all things does uphold, direct, dispose, and govern all creatures, actions, and things, from the greatest even to the least, by His most wise and holy providence, according to His infallible foreknowledge, and the free and immutable counsel of His own will, to the praise of the glory of His wisdom, power, justice, goodness, and mercy.
