Sovereign Over the Shadows
Shakespeare describes life in his play Macbeth, “Life’s a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard of no more; it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury signifying nothing.”
Our God is compassionate to grant us wisdom as we confront the vanity of life to know that our life does have significance.
I.
Under the Sun –

By faith in Christ, all things have become new –
C. Jesus teaches us the same truth . . .
1. Invest in the new heavens and new earth –
2. Do not work for the food that perishes but for the food that endures for eternal life –
3. Jesus Christ remembers our service to Him –
Let us worship the God of hope –
