What is your Goliath?
Goliath , to me , is that problem that will stretch your faith to the limit!
Goliath is that problem that you can’t hide.
You can hide many things, but there some problems you just can’t hide.
What is Goliath?
Goliath is that problem that makes you ashamed.
Goliath is that problem that give a name that God didn’t give you.
Goliath is that problem that makes you a beggar when you should be a giver.
Goliath is that problem that was made in hell and sent to this earth to torment you.
A problem that will just not go away!
But Thank GOD you are that David that was made in heaven and sent to this world to kill Goliath.
You are that STONE that killed Goliath!
In 1 Peter, chapter 2, verse 5, the Bible says you are lively stone.
But the only stone that can kill Goliath is a smooth one.
The stone has to be smooth.
if its not smooth, it cannot kill Goliath.
I want to quickly show you three important things that made the stone smooth, it is a process.
It doesn’t just happen.
1.Pick Your Stone From The Water
The stones that David picked, he picked from water.
, the Word of GOD is described as water.
If you read , Jesus said, Thou art made clean by the Word that I speak unto you.
2.Water Makes Your Stones Smooth
When you lea the water flows, the stones flows.
And they flowing , they ve the stones in the water long enough, what happen is they begin to rub off on each other.
And as they’re flowing, they rubbing off on each other.
And the more they rub off on each other the more they get smooth.
3.The Valley Will Not Kill You!
Now the water and the stone are running through a valley.
A valley represents the problems of life.
But the valley is not to kill you but prepare you!
You are passing through a “season” and God can stop that season today.
If you obey the Word Of GOD this just the beginning....your season is OVER!
Your life is just beginning.
Your ministry is just beginning!
Goliath was killed in the valley of Elak, David said in , verses 4 and 5:
Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.
For Thou art with me.
Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
Conclusion: Understand this that Valley comes before the Table.
