"...faith working through love.” ()

PRAY that we’d hear God’s Word in faith, called “believing what you heard” () Faith formulates the word in our minds.

PRAY that we’d pray in faith, called the “prayer of faith” (). Like David praying to be purified with hyssop and to be washed because he believes that he shall be clean and made whiter than snow in the future. ()

PRAY we would hear our heavenly Father behind the the words, “My son, give me your heart...” (). PRAY we’d have pure hearts that will cause us to cry to Him and give our lives God-ward, that all would be for God!

Picture prayer as the arrow and faith is the bow out of which we shoot to the throne of grace! Faithless prayer is fruitless prayer.

PRAY that we would not approach God with “lip service — yet [our] hearts are far from [God]” ()

PRAY that we’d not be like the people on stained glass windows with eyes and hands directed to heaven but no heart to move that devotion. May we make “music with [our] hearts to the Lord” ().

PRAY that we’d not have hearts for God and for sin because God loves a broken heart, not a divided heart. (; Kg. 17:41)
