1. Basically there are three different interpretations of "the rest" referred to in .
They are as follows:
a.
The faith-rest life-The faith-rest life is usually described as the realization that our walk is to be lived out practically by simply resting in the promises of God, rather than straining to please Him by our own efforts.
It is to cease to strive to do it yourself, to rest in faith, and simply believe God.

ba The millennial rest-This is a time when Christ will rule upon the earth for a thousand years, and Israel as a nation will fmally receive all that was promised to her under the New Covenant.
Thus, Israel will live at rest in her promised land while Christ rules as King of kings.
