It's Time To Lay Down Your Arms

Image of God
Genesis 1:27 LEB
So God created humankind in his image, in the likeness of God he created him, male and female he created them.
We are all his children gone astray, its time we agree with God and lay down our arms down.
Isaiah 53:6 LEB
All of us have wandered about like sheep; we each have turned to his own way; and Yahweh let fall on him the iniquity of us all.
James 4:4 LEB
Adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
If we don’t make peace with God by accepting this free gift of salvation by Jesus, we are still at war with him and are still his enemies!
2. We must rule over sin.
Genesis 4:7 LEB
If you do well will I not accept you? But if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. And its desire is for you, but you must rule over it.”
God has given us the ability to deal with sin but, we must submit to God.

because God did not appoint us for wrath, but for the obtaining of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,

God is so awesome he lets you choose, but make no mistake about it, you will choose death (Hell) or life (Jesus) My hope and prayer is that you choose life.

Matthew 25:41 LEB
Then he will also say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you accursed ones, into the eternal fire that has been prepared for the devil and his angels!
Hell was never meant for mankind, but that is our fate if we reject so great a Salvation, lets not make it hard, its really simple.
2 Kings 5:13 LEB
But his servants came near and spoke to him and said, “My father, if the prophet had spoken a difficult thing to you to do, would you not have done it? Why not even when he says to you, ‘Wash and you shall be clean’?”
Romans 6:23 LEB
For the compensation due sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Deuteronomy 30:19 LEB
I invoke as a witness against you today the heaven and the earth: life and death I have set before you, blessing and curse. So choose life, so that you may live, you and your offspring,
Romans 10:9–10 LEB
that if you confess with your mouth “Jesus is Lord” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses, resulting in salvation.

5.Now is the time for Christ.
Proverbs 27:1 LEB
Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what the day will bring.
(Rico or Angie Testimony)
James 4:14 LEB
you who do not know what will happen tomorrow, what your life will be like. For you are a smoky vapor that appears for a short time and then disappears.
6.Come to Christ just as you are.
Luke 18:11–14 LEB
The Pharisee stood and prayed these things with reference to himself: ‘God, I give thanks to you that I am not like other people—swindlers, unrighteous people, adulterers, or even like this tax collector! I fast twice a week; I give a tenth of all that I get.’ But the tax collector, standing far away, did not want even to raise his eyes to heaven, but was beating his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’ I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than that one! For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”
You must come to God just as you are, don’t worry about your present condition, for God delights in transforming lives, your job right now is to trust God, he will do the rest. Come to Jesus just as you are. (Personal story about my sin, how I held on to it).
James 4:10 LEB
Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.
Luke 23:39–43 LEB
And one of the criminals who were hanged there reviled him, saying, “Are you not the Christ? Save yourself—and us!” But the other answered and rebuked him, saying, “Do you not even fear God, because you are undergoing the same condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we are receiving what we deserve for what we have done. But this man has done nothing wrong!” And he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom!” And he said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.”
lk 23
Acts 18:6 LEB
And when they resisted and reviled him, he shook out his clothes and said to them, “Your blood be on your own heads! I am guiltless! From now on I will go to the Gentiles!”
If you reject Jesus at this moment it’s on you and you alone, I told you to escape!!!!!!!!
My greatest desire is that you would choose life and be with Jesus in paradise Amen!
