WHY GOD GAVE THE LAND OF ISRAEL TO THE JEWS
The area is a land bridge that unites 3 continents and the developing civilizations.
In the Old Testament, all western trade routes passed thru the land.
The original inhabitants were the Canaanites.
Their evil and immorality would lead to the destruction of civilization.
Their 600 year knowledge of God was complete, but they refused it.
So God removed them and replaced them with the Jewish people.
They were to show everyone what companionship with God was like.
They were to tell everyone how they also could enjoy that companionship.
Anyone passing thru the land could get knowledge of God for themselves.
They could receive spiritual life and take it to where they were going.
Instead of death, the land bridge would provide life to civilization.
