Here’s why

God is not bond by time and space

God is multidimensional

In heaven - on earth - in the past - in the future

If God is like this then how does that effect the way we pray

I look backwards to the cross

When you pray - start with what I'm grateful for that happened in the past.

It's good to start your prayers with the cross because it starts with an attitude of gratitude

1 Peter 1:18–19 NLT

18 For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value. 19 It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God.

I’ve asked to you pray everyday with this attitude

God wants my prayers to be personal

I know not everyone has a good relationship with their father

But they are not your heavenly father

God wants my prayers to be passionate

We cry ABBA FATHER

It’s what childern do

God wants my prayers to be a partnership

God’s spirit agrees with my spirit

BTW this how we hear God in prayer

26 At the same time the Spirit also helps us in our weakness, because we don’t know how to pray for what we need. But the Spirit intercedes along with our groans that cannot be expressed in words.
