Galatians 3:13–14 NKJV
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Romans 4:13–14 NKJV
For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. For if those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise made of no effect,
Rom 4:
Romans 4:13 NKJV
For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
Promise - not through law/you living right

What is the promise? that we would be heirs of the world

Who is the promise given to? Abraham and his seed (Jesus/us)

How is it given? by faith

world - look up
Promise - not through law/you living right
preaching living right doesn’t make people live right
OT - about living right
NC - about believing right
When you are believing right, you will be living right
living right is fruit of believing right
no effect
when you believe that you are righteous by faith - the blessings of God will flow unabated in your life

Keys to Living the Grace Life

1. Say I’m Under Grace

when you say you’re under grace - you are declaring you’re not under the merit system

What is Grace? undeserved, unearned, unmerited favor

your heart comes into a place of rest
your heart comes into a place of rest
something restless about the law system (obey - you’re blessed/disobey - you’re not) if you blessings are dependent on your obedience / earning it, you’re never really secure.
I’m under grace - you set God free to bless us when we don’t deserve it.
the cross frees God to be God in our life when we don’t deserve it.
bring areas that trouble you under God’s grace.
Romans 4:17–21 NKJV
(as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.

If the Lord delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, ‘a land which flows with milk and honey.’ Only do not rebel against the Lord, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them.”
