Preaching Produces Opportunity

A. Might Believe—There is a chance to be saved, but there is most importantly a choice to be made.

-Aorist active subjunctive: Hope or desire of something in the past.

Romans 10:8–13 AV 1873

8 But what saith it? B. Focus of believing makes all the difference: Jesus is the Christ!

66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. 67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? 68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. 69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

Purposeful Living is a Result of Believing

The subjunctive of the simple present shows continuation or repetition. The action expressed by the verb is ongoing or repeated.

B. When discussing ways to die, Peter wants to know how John will die. Jesus put him on focus in . The abundant Christian life is not focused on what you and I believe others should be doing, but rather living it ourselves.

There is so much to the Christian life, are you living it! Are you living it focused and on purpose. There is a mission and we need to be living it.
