No Cheap Seats INTRO

Some time ago we had a Supper Bowl. The New York Giants shattered the New England Patriots chance at going 19-0.

One thing that was settled from the start was that there would be no cheap seats. Someone said the ticketrs ranged from $1500.00 to $12000.00. If you attend a NASCAR event this year you will also find that there are no cheap seats.

Jesus is trying to teach us the same thing about being His follower there are no cheap seats.

Jesus has told his followers that He must die. He also tells them that there is a high price to pay for being a follower of His. Contrary to popular belief that is no cheap grace today.

Someone has said, “Many believe they can have Jesus and the world too. Many believe they can claim to be followers of Christ, while they live their lives as they please. Jesus lets us know in no uncertain terms that such notions are utterly false. If a person is going to be a follower of Jesus Christ, there is a very high price to pay”.
