Unity Cross

At the beginning of the ceremony, Logan’s Mom, Julie, and Kendra’s Mom, Dana, placed two pieces of a cross on the alter behind me. This step on their parts is representative of the faith in Christ Logan and Kendra have received from their families and commit today to carry into and through their marriage. Now, they are going to bring those two pieces of the cross together into one singular cross which they will place in their home to signify their desire to enter into the profound mystery of — where they are invited to Leave father and mother, be united together, and become one flesh.
