Galatians 6:6–10 KJV 1900
6 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. 7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. 10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
Galations 6:6-10
I. Take care of the pastor
Galatians 6:6 KJV 1900
6 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
The Galatians here are told to take care of those who teach them in the word. This is the responsibility of each believer. each believer is to shoulder the financial support of the pastor/teacher in the church.
The Judaizers had influenced some of the believers to not support the teachers a special group who were giving their full time to this ministry and who were reimbursed for their labors

1 Corinthians 9:7–14 KJV 1900
7 Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? 8 Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? 9 For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? 10 Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. 11 If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things? 12 If others be partakers of this power over you, are not we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ. 13 Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar? 14 Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.
This concept of voluntary giving to provide for the Lord servants was revolutionary since the Jews were taxed for the support of their priests and Gentiles paid fees made vows to sustain their religions the admission is clear that as a teacher shares the good things of the word of God a believer is to reciprocate by sharing all good things with his instructor
Some argue that Pastors should not be paid because Jesues was not paid, however judius was the treasurear why did they need a treasurear if there was no money
still others argue bi-vocatinal should be the model because Paul was. althoug bivocatinal is at times nesesary it is never ideal.

Galatians 6:7–8 ESV
7 Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. 8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
Galatians 6:7 ESV
7 Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.
Paul uses the words do not be deceived with the false teachers in mind. literally stop being led astray the reason they needed to stop being led astray is because God is not mocked a person can mock God, but they will not get away with it.
This is a solemn warning in verse seven. That God cannot be mocked. each sower decides what his harvest will be if a person sows to please his sin nature he will reap a harvest that will feed into condemnation

Galatians 6:8 ESV
8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
on the other hand if he uses his funds to support the work of the Lord or sows to please the spirit and promotes his own spiritual growth he will reap a harvest that will last forever.

God knows and sees everything
God knows and sees everything
Hebrews 4:13 ESV
13 And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
God knows all and keeps accurate accounts the person who gratifies his flesh will reap corruption but the person who follows the spirit will reap life
Ecclesiastes 12:14 ESV
14 For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil.
v.9
Galatians 6:9 ESV
9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
Paul closes the section of warning with a message of encouragement saying let us not loose heart doing good
Christians may become discouraged with with spiritual sowing because the harvest is often long in coming in the face of this reality Paul challenged the galations to not become weary or give up because the harvest is sure.
there is pain in what the Christian does in this life there can be moments of shortsightedness and times of doubt and discouragement even with the best of actions and the purest of motives
disappointment still comes the war of the believer is with the divel, the world and Christian brothers that try to harm others.

the verse gives us hope that God will have the last say in the resaults of our efforts growing weary implies discourgement and creates an attude of why even bother this is the moment we must fall back on the truth that God has it under control

The reaping will come at God’s proper time which may be only in part in his life and in full in the life to come at the judgment seat of Christ

10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.
Christians have a measure of responsibility to all people to do good when the occasion arise. When Jesus fed the 5,000 everyone participated, not just his followers. so, the benevolence of Christians should not be restricted except that believers have priority as in the home family needs are met first then those of the neighbors
The passage speaks clearly abut Christian Social responsibility, but it should be noted that it is addressed to individual believers. The church is not an agency for social work, though individual Christians are charged to minister in this way as they are able and have opportunity.
