We are going to speak about

for those who dont know, my name is Cesar Escobar and im excited to bring this word to you all today.

just bought this new matress a couple of months ago.

its not the most amazing matress in the world because i dont have that kind money.

but its deffinatly comfortable.

when you lay on that thing you just sink in and it just feels soooo good.

i mean it took me a while to get used to it because it was a new matress but its just soooooo cozy.

but look at the person next to you and tell them comfort is dangerous.

you see every morning when my alarm clcock goes off to go to work my matress tell me to stay just a little longer.

my matress say Cesar, why are you leaving me so soon.

you ujst got here.

im ganna be so sad when you leave.

and if listen to my matress everyday i would lose my job! i mean i didnt even want to wake up this morning and im the person whos preaching !

comfort is one of thoes things that feels great.

but if you constanly live in comfort you dont experience discomfort, you wont grow.

We live in a time where people dont want to do a thing.

Growing up i always heard this phrase that im pretty sure you have all heard of before.

It goes actions speak louder than words.

The Call of Abram

12 The LORD had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.

2 “I will make you into a great nation,

and I will bless you;

I will make your name great,

and you will be a blessing.

3 I will bless those who bless you,

and whoever curses you I will curse;

and all peoples on earth

will be blessed through you.”

4 So Abram went, as the LORD had told him; and Lot went with him.

so in the very beging God created adam and eve.

Adam sins and destroys Gods original plan.

Sooooo many things start going down hill from there.

adam and eve have sons named cain and abel.

Then cain kills his brother!

i mean wow the bible just started and everything just seems to strart spiriling out of control.

But its get worse.

Then it says that the sons of God saw that the huma woman were beautful and had kids with them !

everything is getting wild!

these children were giants called the nephalin.

and then the bile says that every inclination of the human heart was evil! long story short its was time for a do over.

Noah! biuld a arc because im bouta flood this earth and start fresh.

and noah was like of cool.

um but whats an arc and whats a flood?

beacsue in that time itdidnt rain the way it doesn now.

there was some sort of irrigation system God used to water the world.

like a mist that came up from the grownd.

anyways, he built the arc. the world is flooded and noah and his family start to repopulate the world.

and from noahs son Shem many generations later like 7,8 or 9 Came Abram.

And God chose Abram to start his new plan.

His plan for redemtion.

redemtion meaning freeing us from slavery.

Gods new plan is to free you and me from sin. and he chose abram to do this.

So God told abram go and he went.

Why?

You see when God told abram to leave his father at the age of 75.

First of all what what was he still doing at his faters house at the age of 75? hahaha lets imagine what he felt.

He had everything he needed.

Leaving his fathers house meant that he would be losing his inhetitence.

that meant hius secutity.

that means stabitlity, that means his family, and his reputation.

You see when God calls you do something you have to be willing to lose something that may seem big to you.

but whats big to you is small to God.

No im not telling you to quit your job to preach the gosepl.

what im trying to tell you here is to trust God.

Because Abram didnt question God.

He was a man of action.

They say actions speak louder than words.

Abram didnt say much when God spoke.

He just acted.

Im not ganna lie. a few chapter after this he does do some foolish things.

he tries taking matters into his own hands because he felt god was taking too long.

Just like we do when we feel god is taking too long.

Discomfort

You see many of us are scred to Go! the reason we are scared to go is because of all the discomfort that comes with doing what god calls us to do.

But the only way you will ever grow in any aspect of your life is when you are put in an unconfortable situation.

The only way your muscles will grow is if you workout. the only say you will lose thoes 5 pounds is if you run. the only way you will get smarter is if you read and gain new experiences, the only way you will fix the dying relationships in your life with you family friends and partners is if you sit down and talk to them.
