Experiencing pain or failure is necessary for us to know the difference between what is true and what only appears to be true; between what has power and what only appears to be powerful.

When we are not challenged and push ourselves beyond our abilities, we tend to stay in a safe, nurturing environment, but it can hold us back spiritually and we stagnate for a lack of vital, lively faith.

God wants us to live into the very image of God.
We live in a fallen world, with weakened flesh and divided will.
We must rely on God, our Creator, Redeemer and Sustainer to find the strength to move beyond our selves and into a new form life.
Some of us have been shown poor examples of fatherhood, so, we need to allow God to redeem that image to understand him as Father as Jesus did.

The Father has our best in mind, we must have faith that God knows better than we do. So, we must do the Father's will if we love God.
