Galatians 6:11–13 ESV
11 See with what large letters I am writing to you with my own hand. 12 It is those who want to make a good showing in the flesh who would force you to be circumcised, and only in order that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ. 13 For even those who are circumcised do not themselves keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may boast in your flesh.
Galatians 6:11–18 CSB
11 Look at what large letters I use as I write to you in my own handwriting. 12 Those who want to make a good impression in the flesh are the ones who would compel you to be circumcised—but only to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ. 13 For even the circumcised don’t keep the law themselves, and yet they want you to be circumcised in order to boast about your flesh. 14 But as for me, I will never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. The world has been crucified to me through the cross, and I to the world. 15 For both circumcision and uncircumcision mean nothing; what matters instead is a new creation. 16 May peace come to all those who follow this standard, and mercy even to the Israel of God! 17 From now on, let no one cause me trouble, because I bear on my body the marks of Jesus. 18 Brothers and sisters, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
Gal 6:11
Paul again is aggressing the Judizers here who demanded circumsision. Theese Judizers are also mentioned in
Acts 15:1 ESV
1 But some men came down from Judea and were teaching the brothers, “Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.”
Paul refers to theese Judizers in 3 ways
They wew man pleasers
Were afraid of persecution
Wanted to boast about the number of Galations they hope to win over to circumsision as a religious and merrit earning right
The leaglists knew the effect of the cross would be lessened if they proclaimed salvation through faith and works.
Galatians 6:14–16 ESV
14 But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. 15 For neither circumcision counts for anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation. 16 And as for all who walk by this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.
Paul gives the contrast that we need to not boast in our works but rather we should boast in the cross of Christ.
A. The world has been crusified to me and I to the world
As Believers we are crusified to the world we are in the world but no longer of it notice what Paul says here that is not required for salvation
circumcision does not count for anything
uncircumsision does not count for anything
but a new creation
It is all about new life in Christ!
It is vital that nothing is added to salvation
I. A final warning (v. 11-13)
Galatians 6:11–18 ESV

Gal 6
II. How great a salvation (v. 14-15)
Galatians 6:14–15 ESV
14 But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. 15 For neither circumcision counts for anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.
III. Freedom! (V. 16-18)
Galatians 6:16–18 ESV
16 And as for all who walk by this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God. 17 From now on let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus. 18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.
