The bible is a diverse book.

Written by a Farmer, priests, a statesman, fishermen, prophets, a physician, and a tax collector, kings, a tentmaker, homeless prophets, a professional scribe, vocational musicians, pastors
But other parts of the Bible are written by farmers, fishermen, a tentmaker, homeless prophets, a doctor, a professional scribe, vocational musicians, pastors
In the original languages the bible contains approximately 611,000 words.

There are 39 Old Testament books.

There are 27 New Testament books.

The bible was written primarily in Hebrew and Greek.

The bible was written by about 40 human authors over the span of approximately 2000 years.

The bible contains different literary genres including narrative, law, poetry, prophecy, wisdom, gospel, history, letter, and apocalyptic.

The diversity can cause us to get lost. It is very ease for us to see all the diversity of the bible and fail to understand the unity.

The bible is one book.

The bible has one author.

The bible tells the story of who God is and how He redeems His people through the provision of His son.
