What I don’t want to do this morning? Minimize anyone’s hurt or pain. Stir up any guilt or condemnation.

What I do want is the share how important the role of a Father is?

1 Corinthians 4:14–16 KJV 1900

Fathers live for another.

Great Honor And Responsibility to be a Father

Fathers have strong desire for their children to be better than them.

Father in Latin comes from the word patr, which we get our English word pattern.

Role of Spiritual Fathers

1 Thessalonians 2:10–12 KJV 1900

Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe: As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children, That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.

Love them - want their success.

Father’s Build Confidence to handle life - (Ill - Dad and I put windows in)

Go to any playground and listen to the parents. Mothers protect and dads encourage kids to push the limits.

6. Help us see Fatherhood as a gift and responsibility but especially a calling to bless our children and impact generations to come.
