The Father's Authority

Intro

Recognize the Father in the room. This message is not really directed to the father. It is directed for all the children of the Heavenly Father. Sometimes because of our heavenly Fathers, we have misconceptions about our Father in heaven. Today i want to talk to you about this Father.

God is Good

The Father is Good

Romans 8:28 NRSV

We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.

Rom

Wants the best for you. Even in all the circumstances.

This should change our perspective on problems, issues, and storms. When we realize that God is ultimately good we can come to him.

The Father is Loving

God Loves You, through Jesus Christ.

Paul’s Prayer

Ephesians 3:14–19 NRSV

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth takes its name. I pray that, according to the riches of his glory, he may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through his Spirit, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love. I pray that you may have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

What does this mean. The Father sets the rules, boundaries, and laws.

My own example

Because I wasn't able to submit to them, I was miserable during that time. The goodness and the love of the family was something i could not feel. Submission is necessary for us to live in a healthy relationship with the Father.

I am not Perfect. I need you and this church, to keep me surrendered to him, and you need us. We Need Each Other.
