Creation

Genesis 1:26–28 ESV
Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
Genesis 1:26-28 amp
God said let us make mankind in our image, after our likeness
Two things happen here
man was both created and made
both of these words are important
yet equally distinctive
Lets first look at the word create
in the Hebrew the word is BARA meaning to create from nothing
Then lets look at the word make in hebrew
translated from the word ASA meaning to form from something already created
This meaning that man is a combination of both
both created and made
man was created by thought (not existing)
and made from the dust, something already existing
- See when God created Adam, he first thought and then acted
See when God created Adam, he first thought and then acted
And it was with that thought that God said, lets create man in our image in our likenes
And it was with that thought that God said, lets create man in our image in our likeness
See here we see that God had a meeting with the Holy Trinity
See here we see that God had a meeting with the Holy Trinity
And it was in this meeting that the father declared a thing.
And it was in this meeting that the father declared a thing.
So if you are following me you understand the two things that define man
that man was both created and made
See it was when God created man that his purpose was revealed
It was when he created man that He dreamed about you
He first thought about you which falls in line with He created man from nothing, but from a thought and a purpose
And then he made man from dirt
he formed man and the breathed life into man
Genesis 2:7 ESV
then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.
The exact words were that He breathed life into man
And by breathing life he breathed his exact character and essence into man
EX. CPR
- See it is those two words, created and made that reveals the mystery of the creation and production of man and man as a spirit being.
- See it is those two words, created and made that reveals the mystery of the creation and production of man and man as a spirit being.
See it is those two words, created and made that reveals the mystery of the creation and production of man and man as a spirit being.
-
When he breathed life into man he breathed the essence of Himself into man
See it is those two words, created and made that reveals the mystery of the creation and production of man and man as a spirit being.
When he breathed life into man he breathed the essence of Himself into man
So lets look a little farther,
the father said lets create man in our own image
here he is not meaning lets create a carbon copy
So lets look a little farther.
but here he is meaning in his essence, nature, an exact copy or replica
one of his characteristics and his essence
His true identifiable embodiement
So what are you saying Apostle,
Well im glad you asked
Because what these past phrases means is that man is a spirit living in a flesh suit
that man is an expression of Gods moral and spiritual nature and attributes
an embodiment of the Father
some theologians would say almost god-like
with a small g and not a capital g for a diety
We were created and made by the Father
given the responsibility as his agents, his ambassadors, to exercise dominion and rule on the earth
Genesis 1:26 ESV
Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
We are men, not a gender but mankind
thus we were created to exercise power ad to manage that power
We were created with a dominion mandate
The father created a 2nd kingdom and he wanted, needed, someone to rule over that kingdom
And that was the initial job of man
but there was a problem,
The problem was that adam surrendered authority of the kingdom when he decided to eat the fruit
See adam never lost Gods love, but he lost the kingdom and dominion of that kingdom
God created man because he needed someone to rule his second kingdom
And by making the statement, “let them have dominion”
The Father made one of the most key and fundamental statements concerning the creation of mankind
its in that statement that the Father expresses clearly why he created man
And if you read the specified scripture you realize and understand that there is no doubt to why he created man
It is in this statement in which mans assignment is established.
It is in this statement in which mans assignment is fully established.
it is the word dominion that lays the whole foundation of a kingdom concept and mans existence and creation
See it was when adam surrendered kingdom authority that God created a 2nd adam in order to regain and re-establish authority within the earth
What we fail to notice or take into account is who we really are
And if we truly understand our creation mandate we wouldn’t continuously live beneath our birthright
For we were created with what I call a dominion mandate
God the father created us to be kings and queens
not bums and paupers
But when He decided to create the earth, he already knew that he was going to need agents to rule and have dominion over it
so don’t you ever think that anything was by chance
but the fact that all this was thought of before the creation or the earth or man
See God owns everything
Hebrews 2:10 ESV
For it was fitting that he, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the founder of their salvation perfect through suffering.
He is the owner
and we are like the managers, the superintendents
its kind of like we have power of attorney to what happens in and on the earth
We ultimately decide what happens in the earth
So if you see, it is that fact that what happens on the earth is ultimately our fault
we should be the ones deciding
So when God created adam he created him with a dominion mandate
over everything
But it was when he sinned and ate of the fruit that he surrendered rulership of the kingdom of which he was to be ruler of to another
In laymen's terms, HE GAVE IT AWAY
And here we begin to understand our true purpose
to fulfill that dominion mandate that was placed on us before conception
You were created kings and queens
you were created to rule
you were created with a dominion mandate
to have dominion over all the earth and all the creeping things
everything on the face of the earth
THUS CREATED TO RULE
in todays age we spend to much time submitting and not living up to our god given birthright
we are too busy allowing the worries of the world to impact our everyday decision when we should be the one impacting the world
you were born of a royal blood line
you are citizens of a kingdom
and as kings kids you have all that the king possesses
its ALL yours and you have all access to it
stand up and take possession of what is rightfully yours
stop living beneath your birthright
and live according to the reason of your creation
Ending Prayer
Numbers 6:24–26 ESV
The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
numbers 6-24-2

The LORD bless you and keep you;

25 The LORD make His face shine upon you,

And be* gracious to you;

26 The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,

And give you *peace.” ’
