God is a God of love. If we are honest with ourselves sometimes we forget that and make Him out to be vengeful and judgemental, but 2 Peter3:9 shows us a God who is much more. God is holding back judgement in order for everyone to have the chance to discover His grace and mercy through Jesus. God is a God of justice and judgement, but He is also the God of love and mercy who is goes out of His way to give everyone as much time as He can for them to know His love.
