All of the tribes have played and shall play their part in the Lord's strange act. Each has provided and shall provide prophets and seers, and the members of each stand equally before the Lord in seeking and obtaining eternal life. Christ came of Judah as did most of the prophets and apostles of old. Moses and Aaron were of Levi, Paul of Benjamin, and the Nephite prophets of Manasseh. Joseph Smith and the latter-day apostles and prophets are of Ephraim The Book of Mormon is the Stick of Joseph in the hands of Ephraim. And it is Ephraim who is to guide the destiny of the kingdom in the last days and to bring the blessings of the gospel to the other tribes in the family of Jacob.
