Scripture: Psalm 63:1-11

Embracing your time in the wilderness will give you:

1. A Renewed Heart and Spirit (v.1)

God is your Focus in Life.

Therefore, you will

  • Seek Him earnestly
  • thirst for Him
  • long for Him

2. A Renewed Vision and Motivation (vv.2-5)

God is your powerful, glorious and loving Father.

Therefore, you will

  • praise Him
  • bless (adore) Him
  • lift up your hands in His name
  • be satisfied within (inwardly)
  • sing praises to Him

3. A Renewed Trust and Hope (vv.6-8)

God is your Helper.

Therefore, you will

  • remember Him
  • think of Him
  • sing to Him
  • cling to Him
  • God’s right hand will uphold you.

Therefore, you will remain strong and solid, steady and steadfast.

4. A Renewed Confidence and Assurance (vv.9-11)

God is your Avenger.

But,

  • You will rejoice in God
  • Your true friends will spread the joy (MSG)
  • Those who lied against you will be silenced (stopped, gagged for good)

Wilderness time and season will not last forever.

There is a time, a season and a purpose for everything!

Embracing and Not Resenting your Time in the Wilderness will give you:

    • You will Rejoice in Him

  • Trust God to be there for you
  • Trust God to undertake for you and vindicate you
  • Trust God for your breakthrough and miracle
