Introduction:

Late into the night, my wife and I were talking, seeking to synchronize our lives based on scheduled events coming up, and I happened to put the TV on Planet Earth II, the movie. After we basically had finished our discussion we laid down for the night and she turned be to me and said, “Why did you put this show on? I can’t turn away from it because it is so amazing to see creation/nature.” She was glued to the storyline which was telling of wonders of God.
Palestine - a strategic land mass for agriculture, economic, and military purposes. It was and is a desirable territory because of the following additional reasons:
It is a land bridge to Mesopotamia and Egypt, two primary cultural hubs of the ancient times. It was a continental link between Asia and Africa. Military maneuvers were commonly exercised in that region because of the strategic positioning of the land.
The Bible makes a sure connection between God’s people and the land. We see this throughout the scriptures - some more noticeable than others. is the famed text that connects our actions with the land and the condition thereof. We see this yet again in concerning the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah and the utter destruction of this people

Palestine was situated at the west end of the Fertile Crescent, that arching stretch of highly productive land that ran from the Persian Gulf through Mesopotamia and Syria to Egypt. Palestine lay in a unique position, for it constituted a land bridge between Mesopotamia and Egypt, the two primary cultural centers of the ancient Near East. It also served, therefore, as a connection between the continents of Asia and Africa and as a continental link between Africa and Europe.

The Greatness of God (3:24; 5:24)

Moses said… (Deut. 3:24)

O Lord GOD, You have begun to show Your servant Your greatness

And you said: ‘Surely the LORD our God has shown us His glory and His greatness, and we have heard His voice from the midst of the fire. We have seen this day that God speaks with man; yet he still lives.

Israelites said… (Deut 5:24)

And you said: ‘Surely the LORD our God has shown us His glory and His greatness, and we have heard His voice from the midst of the fire. We have seen this day that God speaks with man; yet he still lives.

The Might of God (4:34)
The Grateful Heart Connects

But this people has a defiant and rebellious heart;

They have revolted and departed.

Jeremiah 5:24 NKJV
24 They do not say in their heart, “Let us now fear the Lord our God, Who gives rain, both the former and the latter, in its season. He reserves for us the appointed weeks of the harvest.”
