The directness of this hallowing is pointed towards His name and not our name.
How often do we seek our glory rather than the Glory of God.
OR how often do we seek to take that which is due to God.
But rightly understood His name is the only name worthy of reverence.
God does not need us to render him Holy for he is Holy (He possesss it.
Its in HIs nature.
For He does not need us to attribute this character unto God for Him to obtain it).
The one who benefits from such a rendering is the one to whom sees God in such light.
When a man sees God and acknowledges Him as Holy he realizes that he is not that which God is.
He reveres God and understands how God is set apart from all of creation.
He attributes to God honor seeing the position of authority that God has over all of creation.
They worship God in such light.
Hallowed be your name.
When one sees God in such light it revolutionizes his prayer life.
For He understands God is from beginning to End, Eternal, and His wisdom is held in such light for he knows all things from beginning to end, and He alone is Holy and good.
So as we pray to one of such character We are rightly attributing to God what He alone possesses.
We humbly bow to the one who our lives are subject.
Willing to obey the voice of his commands, understanding we only see in part, we trust in him knowing He is creator and all things are upheld by his power, and we trust his words for he is faithful and holy and deception is not found in him.
And lives lived in such light will properly direct others through their actions and deeds to their heavenly Father, For they live a life which does not come natural unto men.
For they could only be born out of a relationship with Him because of His indwelling power by His Holy Spirit.

Our hallowing is rooted in the relationship that is rested in the relationship between us and the father.
The salvation by the grace of God is the grounding which our hallowing comes from.
That enlightens the eyes to truly see God as worthy of praise and brings us into the position to rightly do so that it may be pleasing to him.

Once again not that God needs us to give him a high status for him to have for he already has it obtained from the the world was.
Do you notice the psalmists response in light of Gods gracious work?
But i am poor and needy.
The one Who praises God and desires his name to be magnified understands that we are not worthy of it.
We are in such of need, not God in need of us.
Isaiah when he entered into the presence of God.
I am a firm believer when God unveils himself to certain individuals there response is not, yeah that sounds good God, type attitude.

When your eyes see the KING, THE LORD OF HOSTS.
This right here became my prayer for youth camp.
You don’t need to pressure for decisions When your eyes have seen the KING.

The basis of the hallowing of God is found in the nature and character of God.
Who is set apart from all creation.
The basis
Those who see God in his purest form understand clearly as He is.
Then Why is it that His church appears no longer to see Him in the clear light for fear over takes them.
Worry surrounds them.
Sin is encamped with them.
They welcome the harlot into their bedrooms but leave God outside the home.
Isaiah 6:
That is good.
God is so great
THis is the power of context.
When you only see part you read into the words that may be found in this verse.
But when you see the whole story your heart swells to proclaim you are worthy God.
Hallow be your name.
David looks around at his house made with cedar and cant stand God dwelling in a camp
Look at the basis of his extolling, his praise towards God.
So the question then comes is, what does this look like laid out in our lives?
Maybe better put…How are you Hallowing the name of God in every area of you life.
How are you exalting Him with your thoughts?
With you actions?
With your finances?
IF you are not honoring God with your firstfruits then how are you rightfully giving to God that which he is do.
Not because he needs it but because He deserves it.
​ NKJVLet your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
Not in mere outward acts but radical works that only could be performed by the power of the one that lives inside us.
This manifests itself with radical works.
In our day Children obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
Giving to your parents what they didn’t give to you.
Homes are left in pieces because of their rebellious ways.
Now honoring your father and mother not because they deserve it but because God commands it.
Standing for the biblical form of marriage not because its the best way but because it is the only way.
ANd is the only form that honors the king.
Not living for the things of this world but this world but the one to come.
To LIVE IS CHRIST AND DIE IS GAIN.
Fighting for life
You also have a desire that HIs name be great among all the nations.
You seek His truth to be known unashamedly in our culture and abroad.
