II. If you are not a Christian, why?
If you are not a Christian, is it because you are afraid of judgement from others rather than God? ()
For whoever is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”
2. If you are not a Christian, is it because you see inconsistencies of professing Christians? ()
So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God.
3. If you are not a Christian, is it because you are afraid of Rejection? (; )
Everyone the Father gives me will come to me, and the one who comes to me I will never cast out.
“Come, let us settle this,”
says the Lord.
“Though your sins are scarlet,
they will be as white as snow;
though they are crimson red,
they will be like wool.
4. If you are not a Christian, is it because you are not willing to change and give up everything for Christ? ()
For what does it benefit someone to gain the whole world and yet lose his life? What can anyone give in exchange for his life?
5. If you are not a Christina, is it because you are afraid that you are too much of a sinner to be saved? (; )
For we too were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, enslaved by various passions and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, detesting one another.
This saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”—and I am the worst of them.
6. If you are not a Christian, is it because you are satisfied with you good works and think God is as well? ()
For whoever keeps the entire law, and yet stumbles at one point, is guilty of breaking it all.
7. If you are not a Christian, is it because you assume there is a lot of time? ()
Don’t boast about tomorrow,
for you don’t know what a day might bring.
