The Gospel Work Ethic

Work Ethic is in credibly Important

You wont be successful at anything with out Good Work Ethic.

Not just Work Work

We have to work at relationships

We have to work on our marriages, and even friendships

We have to work at parenting, a passive parent, or a lazy parent wont raise good children. It takes work

We have to work at our hobbies, at least if you want to be good at them.

Sports or whatever

If you want to succeed at anything you have to work and you have to work hard. Period

Now we know that we dont have to work for our salvation. The gospel is a free gift of God given to us by the work of Jesus on the cross.

You can not earn it and you do not deserve it, but we receive it as a free gift of God.

However dont be mistaken, though you dont work for your own salvation you do work for/in the gospel.

We dont work for salvation but we work out of it.

We dont work for our salvation but we do work for the salvation of others.

We dont labor for our own redemption but we do labor for the redemption of the world.

We dont work our way into the kingdom of God but we do work to build his kingdom.

And like everything else it takes good work ethic.

It take The Gospel Work Ethic

We will not be successful with out work.

Now what about burn out and busyness?

For you know that we dealt with each of you as a father deals with his own children, encouraging, comforting and urging you to live lives worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory.
