I CORINTHIANS 11:23-25

I.                  HIS SPOTLESS LIFE

A.   TEMPTED-YET WITHOUT SIN

1.    ON EVERY POINT YOU AND I HAVE BEEN

2.    MARK 1:13 “AND HE WAS THERE IN THE WILDERNESS FORTY DAYS, TEMPTED OF SATAN

B.    HIS ACCUSERS:

1.    HAD TO FIND TWO LIARS WHOSE STORIES WOULD AGREE

2.    COULD FIND NOTHING TO FAULT HIM WITH

C.    TIME HAS RECORDED NO FAULT

II.               HIS TEACHING

A.   AMAZED THE RELIGIOUS LEADERS OF HIS DAY, AND STILL DO TODAY

B.    STILL TRANSFORMS PEOPLE TODAY

C.    HE DID NOT TEACH AS ONE HAVING AUTHORITY, BUT AS THE AUTHORITY

III.           HIS MIRACLES

A.   HEALING ALL MANNER OF SICKNESS

B.   CASTING OUT DEMONS

C.   RAISING THE DEAD

D.   CALMING THE WINDS AND THE WAVES

E.    CURSING THE FIG TREE

F.    TURNING WATER INTO WINE

IV.           HIS DEATH

A.   SUBSTITUTIONARY (HIS LIFE FOR OURS)

B.    SACRIFICIAL (HE DID NOT HAVE TO DO IT)

C.    SUFFICIENT (FOR CLEANSING US OF ALL OF OUR SINS)

V.              HIS RESURRECTION AND ASCENSION

A.   THE GRAVE COULD NOT CONSTRAIN HIM – HE IS THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE

B.    THIS WORLD COULD NOT CONSTRAIN HIM – HIS THRONE IS IN THE HEAVENLY
