OUR PURPOSE IN LIFE

IS TO

MAGNIFY CHRIST

Philippians 1:19, 20

For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.

A.     The Circumstances of Life

1.     May be filled with intense hardship

2.     Coupled with our love for our Lord, death may seem preferable to life.

B.     To Have Lived So Completely For Christ That:

1.     He is Glorified in Our Living

2.     He is Glorified in Our Death

III.             Changing Our Focus

A.     Our Confidence Being in Our Fellow Believers

B.     Our Confidence Being in Christ

C.     Our Confidence Being in the Spirit
